Finally at the last stop on our 2011 tour, Joe and I were ready to face what the Valley of Fear had to offer! Claiming to have one of the most scariest & original hayrides in the country we couldn’t wait! As we made our way from the car to the ticket booth, I couldn’t help but feel like we were on a camp ground. To be honest it sort of felt like Crystal Lake from the Jason movies, so I started wondering will any of the attractions pay tribute to the slasher. Even though it was the Friday before Halloween, there wasn’t that large of a crowd which was great for Joe and I considering we love when there is hardly anyone there. So after grabbing our VIP tickets we made our way to the Hayride which would take us to Scary Tales, ZRC and Shipwreck Cove.

We climbed aboard and sat facing outwards towards what Valley of Fear claimed to be the darkest woods in Bucks County. Our legs and feet were exposed to anything and everything that came to close to the wagon. What made this different then others that had the same seating arrangement was the use of the terrain. Instead of being really far from the props and sets we were face to face with them which definitely allowed for the actors and animatronic props to scare the crap out of us. Everything about this hayride made it one of the best we have ever been on. The acting in the beginning during a tribute to Jason, the few but amazing animatronic props we came in contact with, the different sections including the fist pumping CarnEvil to the undead graveyard that looked like it had been ripped from the music video Thriller, it was absolutely amazing! Aside from the brilliant cosmetic and mechanical aspects we were scared numerous times from things that popped out right in front of our faces due to the awesome seating arrangement! When it finally ended I was very upset because I wanted more of the hayride. To be honest I would have went back around if they would have let me!
