Review: Jason's Woods
Author FrightTour Saturday 05 November 2016 - 15:09:23

Halloween has come and gone, but that doesn’t stop us from enjoying those haunts who remain open through the first week of November. Considering we had to cancel some locations due to inclement weather we added Jason’s Woods of Lancaster, Pennsylvania to our tour. Over three years ago, Joe and I had attempted to review Jason’s Woods during our first visit to the Lancaster area. However, due to an altercation where I was escorted off the property because the owner was unprofessional in my inquiry about complimentary tickets. We never demand, we simply ask and in the world of haunted attractions it is so easy for review sites to have their review bought and FrightTour is not one of those sites! So at that time I could have written a totally bogus review, but just decided to remove it from the 2012 Tour and from our site. However, after some thought, I came to the conclusion that it is unprofessional of me to remove Jason’s Woods from the site because I can simply go back, pay for the attractions and review as I always do and that is exactly what we did.

UPDATED - Review: The Uninvited: Awakening
Author FrightTour Friday 04 November 2016 - 17:40:00

We have watched your traditional haunted house manifest into a more interactive and immersive experience offering more of a personal "extreme" rendition. The greater majority of haunted attractions are only scraping the surface of this new trend. While a few, are breaking down the walls between what is make believe and what is "real". The Uninvited: Awakening is an immersive, interactive and full-body experience taking place in the sub levels of the Graham Court building. Once served as the stables for the New York elite, the building is now home to New York City's biggest immersive experience covering 25,000 square feet! Not gathering much from the website and the minimal vague reviews available on line. Joe and I venture into the darkness blind not knowing what was in store for us that night! Read our multi-experience review of what happened once in the bowels of purgatory!

Review: Sleepy Hollow Hayride
Author FrightTour Wednesday 02 November 2016 - 02:21:00

Coming down to the wire with our 2016 FrightTour we find ourselves at our 2015 recipient for our coveted Frighty Award, "Haunted House of the Year". The three attraction "scream farm" offers a wide variety of activities including a haunted hayride, haunted walk through a winding cornfield and an experience within the walls of an interactive and immersive haunted house called, The House in the Hollow! Aside from the haunted activities, bonfires and live entertainment are also included but of course Joe and I were at Sleepy Hollow Hayride for one thing and one thing only! Our 2015 Haunted House of the Year, The House in the Hollow and of course we couldn't resist taking part in the hayride and cornfield... So off we went!
